Our vision is to evolve from an ex RAF Barracks to become the premium events space in Ireland, for hosting high profile events with premier facilities and infrastructure. Shackleton aspires to deliver a diverse annual events programme along with a dedicated team of contractors and staff.
Artist Facilities
Our site utilises permanent structures for all facilities which provides a much higher level of ambience for artists and crew. These facilities include a self-contained dedicated backstage compound with a 60+ bedroom hotel (pictured above) which has luxurious dressing rooms exceeding any rider specification.
Staging & Production
For initial scope and visualisation we are utilising a 20m VerTech stage , with a 3D visual aspect to the stage- similar to that achieved at BST Summertime Live in Hyde Park.
We have engaged with multiple suppliers in order to achieve a quality production team , with lighting and staging house suppliers being engaged with for the initial scoping.
Safety
Safety is paramount and we have engaged H&S safety consultants as well as event & crowd management specific consultants to ensure that our events management plan is adheres to the requirements of the key stakeholders.
